My experience in photography has taught me that confetti shots are some of your most loved images and it is not a shot that you wil get a second chance at. So here are some of my tips and tricks to help you get that perfect shot.
More Is More
Confetti works best when every guest has a really good handful, two if possible. When i say 'good handful', i mean bursting between your fingers and starting to blow away in the wind. We dont just want a little sprinkle! When you think you have bought enough confetti, buy more.
Look Up!
Easier said than done i know! But we want to see you smiling in the photos, not looking at the ground!
Don't Use The Fabric Bags
The little bags and paper cones you buy to hold your confetti in are really pretty, but don't waste your money. Sometimes they accidentally get thrown, the confetti doesnt want to come out properly and before you know it, the moment has gone. Just put the confetti in a big dish, it's so much easier and quicker to hand out.
Walk Don't Run
Take your time!! This moment only lasts a few seconds. And stop half way for a kiss!
Aim High
This tip is for your guests. throw up and over, not stright. The confettiwill not fall properly otherwise and the photos will just have hands over the bride and grooms faces.
